Auditions?

It has been suggested that we have auditions for the spring play to cast from within the class rather than have Mr. Reed make the decisions without having formal auditions. What do you think? I will attach a poll to the blog. Vote away!

Spring Play

Remember, we need to make a decision on which play we are doing next semester. We are going to be performing this outside on campus during the afternoon, so we need a play that can be performed in those conditions.

I have suggested Thesmophoriazusae by Aristophanes or The Trojan Women by Euripedes. If you have any alternate suggestions please let me know.

Notes for October 30

I have recorded the notes for October 30th as a podcast. You can listen to it at this here. I know the sound quality is not very good at this point, but I will work on that by purchasing a better microphone.

Fundraiser

Reminder, all of your coupon book orders must be turned in by this Wednesday or Thursday depending on which day you have your drama class! Get those packets in!

Rehearsal for October 29th

Rehearsal on Act I, scene 1 went well yesterday. Remember to watch out for 'Happy feet' and turning your back to the audience for extended periods of time. Still a little worried by how many absences we have been having recently. The walls of the set are almost done being put up, so soon we will just have the detail work on the set left to do.
